In our workshop at the Researchers’ Night at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, we embarked on a journey to explore sound, discovering how to capture and listen to it. We connected this principle with the atomic force microscope (AFM), demonstrating how a needle that follows a relief makes it possible both to play music and to explore the nanoworld through our demo AFM.
