Prof. Félix Zamora Abanades, IFIMAC researcher from 2013, has been awarded with the “Excelencia Investigadora de la Real Sociedad Española de Química (RSEQ) 2015” – Prize sponsored by BASF due to the pioneering research and intensity of his research activity in the field of characterization and preparation of new nanomaterials with new multifunctional properties based on 1D coordination polymers and new 2D materials with internal order. Prof. Félix Zamora Abanades has published 110 papers and 5 patents, has been invited at more than 20 conferences as invited speaker. In the last 5 years he has published more than 50 papers, principal investigator in 4 research projects with national/international funding agencies. He is also co-founder and scientific advisor of NanoInnova Technologies (www.nanoinnova.com).
