IFIMAC Obtains "María de Maeztu Unit of Excellence" Accreditation for the Second Time

Last Monday 7th of October 2019 the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities published the list of the winners of “Severo Ochoa” and “María de Maeztu Unit of Excellence” accreditations.

IFIMAC – Condensed Matter Physics Center from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid has received the accreditation “María de Maeztu Unit of Excellence” for the second time. This is a programme of the Secretary of State for Research, Development and Innovation of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities that aims to promote excellence in scientific research in Spain. The accreditation as a “María de Maeztu Unit of Excellence” is valid for four years and includes a grant of 500.000 € per year during this period of time.
