Isabel Guillamón Awarded The “Miguel Catalán” Prize For Young Researchers 2020

Isabel Guillamón Gómez received the “Miguel Catalán” 2020 Award for reseachers below 40 of the Comunidad de Madrid for her “scientific contribution in condensed matter physics and for setting up a new laboratory with pioneering techniques”.

She is “Ramón y Cajal” researcher in the Department of Condensed Matter Physics and IFIMAC member. She is the PI of the ERC StG project “Pnicteyes” where she has setup a unique millikelvin STM setup capable of reaching magnetic fields up to 22 T.
