Position type: 2-year contract at the post-doctoral level.
Topic: Simulations of Two-dimensional Systems with AI Techniques.
Duration: 2 years. From May, 2019 to April, 2021.
Principal Investigator: Zoran Levnajic and Juan José Palacios.
Requirements: The position is intended for a PhD in Physics. The work will be carried out mainly in Slovenia supervised from IFIMAC at the initial and intermediate stages.

Main tasks to performed in the project:
Numerical simulations of two-dimensional materials with emphasis in disorder- and alloy-related issues. AI techniques (machine-learning, genetic algorithms, etc) will be mastered and used in this context.
