Carlos Antón Solanas has been awarded the UAM Young Researchers award in the “Ciencias Experimentales” (Experimental Sciences) category. This recognition is part of UAM’s initiative to recognize and celebrate the work of UAM researchers under-40 for their contribution to scientific development, as well as to enhance the national and international visibility of the university as a leading research center.
Carlos joined IFIMAC in 2022 and has since then built up a research line on single photon emitters and cavity coupled light sources. Since his arrival, he was already awarded a BBVA Leonardo Fellowship, as well as Ramon Areces and Quantera projects.
We congratulate Carlos Antón Solanas!
