On 5 September, a ceremony was held at CaixaForum Madrid to honour the recipients of the Severo Ochoa and María de Maeztu accreditations. Representatives of all the institutes and centres that have been awarded in the last six years were present. The event was chaired by the Minister of Science, Innovation and Universities, Diana Morant. Francisco J. García Vidal and Rubén Pérez, former and current director of IFIMAC, received medals for the institute’s second accreditation (2018) and third accreditation (2023). [Read more]
